In 2020, the building was reborn again as the Wood Life Hall, a museum store that brings wood aesthetics to life with products and experiences showcasing the beauty of wood art and the unique characteristics of Daxi.
Built in 1941, this building was originally a dormitory for policemen who were not married. In 2016 the building was restored and reopened as the Wood Art Ecomuseum's Craftsman Story House, where it serves as a space for collecting and displaying the stories and craftsmanship of Daxi's woodcrafters.
This building was originally a grain warehouse built during the Japanese colonial period. In 2021, it reopened as the Lunar June 24 Story House, dedicated to promoting Daxi's unique annual cultural tradition of Lord Guan's birthday celebration.
The Arts & Crafts Center is in the repurposed third unit of a six-unit dormitory. It is used as a space for resident craftspeople, featuring a classroom, a woodcraft classroom room, and a crafts education room.
