Since its founding in 2015, the Daxi Wood Art Ecomuseum has invested tremendous resources into the preservation of Shetou traditions: subsidies, the Daxi Shetou Cultural Academy, onsite exhibitions, Project: Corner Museum, procession performances, Daxi Culture Theater, Designer Pair-ups and documentary courses.

The role that the Shetou member plays has also evolved: he would serve as a mentor, an actor, a documentarist, and exhibition curator, becoming a veritable slashie.

We hope to faithfully capture the events in the daily life of three young Shetou members from their perspectives.
