DAXI DAXi combines illustrated text and designs, bases its storytelling on the community’s procession heritage, and creates an instant, epic illustrated book with “the Reception of June 24” that curates the tales of the city suitable for all ages. Kids and adults of all ages are invited to flip through the pages and rediscover Daxi of Taoyuan. One of the most iconic tales is of course, “the birthday celebration of Holy Emperor Guan Yu of Puji Temple in Daxi” that boasts over 100 years of history. The adventure into a 3-D, miniature Daxi begins right here in town, as you journey through the pages and hear the story of Guan Yu’s birthday celebration!
